The Safe Routes to School Program participated in the 23rd Annual Glendale Cruise Night Event which was held on July 16, where children and parents had an opportunity to learn pedestrian, bicycle, helmet and traffic safety. Participants enjoyed playing safety games and Find the Hazard quiz games, which had players trying to figure out where danger would be coming from if they were walking or biking. Traffic safety instructors reminded both children and adults about the rules of the road and shared important street safety information about how to properly and safety walk and ride a bike around Glendale as well as how to be safe drivers.
